The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. ZAKE's Basilio Ihazintu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save ZAKE from getting a goal against them. Basilio Ihazintu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lisandro Lopez in the 8th minute of play. The supporters of ZAKE booed when RoKoCoKo TeaM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hermengildo Janpier didn't get a good kick on the ball. Basilio Ihazintu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lisandro Lopez in the 15th minute. With a little luck, ZAKE's Basilio Ihazintu got control of the ball when Hector Speed tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tim Tarasek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victorino Egun in the 38th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hector Speed in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Basilio Ihazintu saved ZAKE from getting behind. ZAKE's Basilio Ihazintu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save ZAKE from getting a goal against them. Through an outstanding action, after 44 minutes, Basilio Ihazintu successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Basilio Ihazintu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angel Di Maria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to ZAKE getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Alan Barrionuevo hit a great ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Victorino Egun stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. ZAKE's Basilio Ihazintu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jax Van Landschoot in the 52nd minute of play. Victorino Egun could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Tim Tarasek made a huge save. Özer Ballı might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tim Tarasek. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Özer Ballı ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 68th match minute, ZAKE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alan Barrionuevo to maneuver through the defense. Ambrosio Dacio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tim Tarasek having to interfere. 73 minutes into the match, ZAKE's goal looked a bit too open when Hector Speed came free, but Basilio Ihazintu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 79th play minutes Jax Van Landschoot shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Basilio Ihazintu and just under the crossbar into goal. ZAKE's Basilio Ihazintu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Palermo in the 81st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Palermo in the 83rd minute of play forced ZAKE's goalkeeper Basilio Ihazintu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 84th minute, Basilio Txema hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 87 minutes into the match, ZAKE's goal looked a bit too open when Jax Van Landschoot came free, but Basilio Ihazintu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 89th match minute, RoKoCoKo TeaM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Domingo Benet to maneuver through the defense. When Victorino Egun came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the ZAKE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victorino Egun couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, ZAKE's Ferdinand Verschelde got a free kick in the 95th minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. RoKoCoKo TeaM had played much better football throughout.
