An unexpectedly hard shot by Dillon Galindo in the 4th minute of play forced Sorento FC's goalkeeper Mariano Telesforo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Flame Throwers fans' excitement grew in the 8th match minute when Flame Throwers's Reinaldo McCormick looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Sam Norman hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. After having played for 11 minutes, Siro Sesuldo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sorento FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Siro Sesuldo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sebastian Townsend took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mariano Telesforo. Mariano Telesforo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. In the 20th match minute, Sorento FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evelio Gomez to maneuver through the defense. In the 24th minute Evelio Gomez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shelton Knutson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Reinaldo McCormick took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mariano Telesforo. Mariano Telesforo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. In the 30th minute, Agustin Beila hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Through an outstanding action, after 32 minutes, Mariano Telesforo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. A collision led to Sorento FC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Agustin Beila hit a great ball. In the 39th minute, Scotty Dietz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mariano Telesforo was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Agustin Beila kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. If Sebastian Townsend had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 47 minutes into the match, Sorento FC's goal looked a bit too open when Reinaldo McCormick came free, but Mariano Telesforo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Evelio Gomez was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Flame Throwers's goal looked a bit too open when Evelio Gomez came free, but Shelton Knutson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 54 minutes into the game, Flame Throwers's Scotty Dietz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mariano Telesforo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. When Flame Throwers's Sebastian Townsend in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sorento FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 65th minute Evelio Gomez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shelton Knutson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Sorento FC defense, Sebastian Townsend kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mariano Telesforo. The Sorento FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mariano Telesforo should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, Flame Throwers's Shelton Knutson got control of the ball when Agustin Beila tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Flame Throwers's Reinaldo McCormick in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sorento FC's goalie prevented a goal. Mariano Telesforo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Scotty Dietz in the 74th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 77 minutes, Shelton Knutson successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 79th minute, Brian Hyatt left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Flame Throwers fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 10-0. Evelio Gomez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shelton Knutson having to interfere. After 87 minutes, Reinaldo McCormick made it 11-0 with a short kick to the right side. Sorento FC's Mariano Telesforo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 90 minutes into the match, Sorento FC's goal looked a bit too open when Reinaldo McCormick came free, but Mariano Telesforo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sebastian Townsend kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. In the 94th minute Agustin Beila shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shelton Knutson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Niceto Medina kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Flame Throwers walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
