In the 6th play minute Jonas Garcia came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jorginho Quirino. 1-0. Inácio de Brito hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Jonas Garcia took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jorginho Quirino. Jorginho Quirino dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. 3-0 became the score in the 15th minute when Jonas Garcia elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Jonas Garcia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorginho Quirino having to interfere. In the 21st minute, Mateus Baldaia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jorginho Quirino was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Jonas Garcia who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 28thth minute tested the skills of Jorginho Quirino when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Jorginho Quirino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicolaas Anelka, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. After having played for 37 minutes, Mateus Baldaia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. A.D.ESMOJÃES's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mateus Baldaia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Laureano Rijo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Betão Branco in the 39th minute of the match. Jorginho Quirino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolaas Anelka in the 40th minute of play. Jorginho Quirino was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Nicolaas Anelka showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 6-1 in the 42 minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, A.D.ESMOJÃES's Eduardo Bulhosa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jorginho Quirino narrowly saved just below the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jonas Garcia made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonas Garcia in the 51st minute of play forced Grêmio Felipe's goalkeeper Jorginho Quirino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Eduardo Bulhosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jorginho Quirino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mateus Baldaia in the 55th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jonas Garcia in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jorginho Quirino saved Grêmio Felipe from getting behind. In the 60th minute, Nicolaas Anelka made a precise shot to the right of Jorginho Quirino. Grêmio Felipe's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-1. Nicolaas Anelka recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Betão Branco in the 65th minute of play forced A.D.ESMOJÃES's goalkeeper Laureano Rijo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chicão Moraes hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. The supporters of A.D.ESMOJÃES booed when Grêmio Felipe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristian de Senna didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 74thth minute Ricardo Souto easily got through Grêmio Felipe's defense and fired away a shot, but Jorginho Quirino leaped left and performed a fabulous save. After a long run with the ball, Ricardo Souto did a trick in the 74th minute in front of Grêmio Felipe's goalkeeper, who threw himself to the side. After that it was simple to shoot 8-1. An impressive performance by A.D.ESMOJÃES's Ricardo Souto! Diego Salgado charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Diego Salgado the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Grêmio Felipe getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Diego Salgado hit a great ball. In the 79th minute, Nicolaas Anelka ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jorginho Quirino was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-1. Jorginho Quirino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicolaas Anelka, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Jorginho Quirino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolaas Anelka, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A.D.ESMOJÃES's Laureano Rijo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Betão Branco in the 94th minute of play. Eduardo Bulhosa might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jorginho Quirino. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eduardo Bulhosa ran back to his position shaking his head.
