In the 7th minute A.J. 太史慈 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cosme Paris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cosme Paris took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roger Sandwall, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 10 minutes into the match, Roger Sandwall notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of La Gagoneta's Cosme Paris. Cosme Paris was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 12 minutes into the game, Eric Pettersson threw the ball into play from the sideline. La Gagoneta's Rodolfo Oliverios quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Cosme Paris showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from A.J. 太史慈, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 20th minute A.J. 太史慈 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cosme Paris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Odion Tao didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Manfredo Zanussi went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Melchester Rovers's Odion Tao played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manfredo Zanussi in the 27th minute of play. Oscar Garaona hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. In the 30thth minute of the game A.J. 太史慈 who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but La Gagoneta's Cosme Paris was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Melchester Rovers were awarded a corner in the 32th minute after La Gagoneta's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Roger Sandwall took the corner. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manfredo Zanussi in the 33rd minute of play forced Melchester Rovers's goalkeeper Odion Tao to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cosme Paris showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from A.J. 太史慈 in the 35th minute of the match. Melchester Rovers's Odion Tao played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manfredo Zanussi in the 36th minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, La Gagoneta's goal looked a bit too open when A.J. 太史慈 came free, but Cosme Paris reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Manfredo Zanussi managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Gagoneta's supporters rose to their feet, but Manfredo Zanussi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Odion Tao breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Roger Sandwall to make the kick off. In the 51st match minute, Melchester Rovers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eric Pettersson to maneuver through the defense. La Gagoneta's Cosme Paris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ian Ekenberg in the 54th minute of play. Cosme Paris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mikael Meck in the 56th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, La Gagoneta's goal looked a bit too open when Ian Ekenberg came free, but Cosme Paris reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Eric Pettersson in the 61st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by La Gagoneta's German Mannie. Ian Ekenberg kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Odion Tao showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manfredo Zanussi, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Manfredo Zanussi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Odion Tao having to interfere. La Gagoneta's Cosme Paris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roger Sandwall in the 71st minute of play. Cosme Paris showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from A.J. 太史慈, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Odion Tao made an important save on a dangerous shot by Manfredo Zanussi in the 75th minute. Melchester Rovers's Hannes Odén managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by 曲宽义 in the 78 minute of the game. 80 minutes into the match, Melchester Rovers's goalkeeper Odion Tao had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Manfredo Zanussi. Florentino Rufio hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. 91 minutes into the match, Melchester Rovers's A.J. 太史慈 sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cosme Paris narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Melchester Rovers's Hans Svensson got a free kick in the 93rd minute. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Melchester Rovers lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
