In the 5th match minute, MKS Polonia Słubice was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Witomir Dlugi to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Witomir Dlugi in the 10th minute of play forced San Lorenzo de Mar del's goalkeeper Leonides Medardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th minute Saturnino Gilabert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ludomil Mocko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in San Lorenzo de Mar del's zone, Herbert Raflewski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonides Medardo came out of the goal and Herbert Raflewski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ludomil Mocko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saturnino Gilabert, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Apolo Alvarez during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, San Lorenzo de Mar del's Apolo Alvarez got a free kick in the 25th minute. After some careless play in the San Lorenzo de Mar del defense, Herbert Raflewski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leonides Medardo. The San Lorenzo de Mar del fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leonides Medardo should have stopped the shot. In the 30th minute Saturnino Gilabert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ludomil Mocko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 31st minute, Saturnino Gilabert got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 33 minutes into the match, Witomir Dlugi notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of San Lorenzo de Mar del's Leonides Medardo. Leonides Medardo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ludomil Mocko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Domingo Olando, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. San Lorenzo de Mar del's Leonides Medardo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herbert Raflewski in the 40th minute of play. Leonides Medardo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herbert Raflewski in the 42nd minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 43 minutes, Leonides Medardo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 44 played minutes MKS Polonia Słubice got a freekick which was hit by Tanek Drzewucki. After 45 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for MKS Polonia Słubice! When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The supporters of MKS Polonia Słubice booed when San Lorenzo de Mar del was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anier Pirro hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. In the 86th minute, Anier Pirro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dominik Kaszubowski kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. San Lorenzo de Mar del's Saturnino Gilabert got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. For all the effort they put into the match, the San Lorenzo de Mar del players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for MKS Polonia Słubice.
