Spectators: 150 (Terracing: 113, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Uğurcan Avcı kicked off to start the match. Uğurcan Avcı's late challenge caught a Legia Warszawa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Uğurcan Avcı helped the player get up and apologised. Bo Kråk hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. In the 14th match minute, Legia Warszawa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Witomir Blicharz to maneuver through the defense. In the 15thth minute of the game Uğurcan Avcı who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Legia Warszawa's Zenon Pleban was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Zenon Pleban made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Uğurcan Avcı in the 16th minute of play. Carlos Rojas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leszek Podwojski in the 19th minute. A collision led to Legia Warszawa getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Qiu Yang hit a great ball. Legia Warszawa's Zenon Pleban played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Uğurcan Avcı in the 26th minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, Legia Warszawa's goal looked a bit too open when Edvard Ljungberg came free, but Zenon Pleban reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Uğurcan Avcı in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zenon Pleban prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Uğurcan Avcı in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zenon Pleban saved Legia Warszawa from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Uğurcan Avcı in the 46th minute of play forced Legia Warszawa's goalkeeper Zenon Pleban to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leszek Podwojski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Carlos Rojas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucian Mihăilă, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 52nd minute Leszek Podwojski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Rojas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 53rd minute, Leszek Podwojski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Legia Warszawa's Lucian Mihăilă got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 58 minutes into the match, Legia Warszawa's Leszek Podwojski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carlos Rojas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Torsten Mattsson kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Karol Tomiczek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Carlos Rojas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 67th minute, Alfred Podwojski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Uğurcan Avcı could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Zenon Pleban made a huge save. If Karol Tomiczek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 85th minute, Sven-Erik Nord hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leszek Podwojski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zenon Pleban made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Uğurcan Avcı in the 88th minute of play. Edvard Ljungberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute.
