Spectators: 175 (Terracing: 132, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Sorin Enciulescu took the kick off in the first half of the match. Serafín Jarpa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrei Oloieru having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Visti Hjelmstoft got free with Richard Murillo in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Visti Hjelmstoft had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Visti Hjelmstoft took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Richard Murillo to make any attempt to save it. Fotbal Club Vaslui's Andrei Oloieru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serafín Jarpa in the 26th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sorin Enciulescu in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andrei Oloieru saved Fotbal Club Vaslui from getting behind. When the match clock showed 27 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Sorin Enciulescu sped through Fotbal Club Vaslui's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Andrei Oloieru. After 33 played minutes Fotbal Club Vaslui got a freekick which was hit by Cosmin Bocșan. After a rather tough play, CSD Concepción's Calixto Urquidi got a free kick in the 39th minute. Cosmin Bocșan made in the 43rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Mihnea Stanca immediately put the ball in play. Visti Hjelmstoft received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Richard Murillo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Visti Hjelmstoft stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 50th match minute, Fotbal Club Vaslui was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Visti Hjelmstoft to maneuver through the defense. In the 53rd minute Traian Traian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Richard Murillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Richard Murillo came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Fotbal Club Vaslui's Traian Traian. But to his dismay, Traian Traian quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. CSD Concepción made a substitution. Manuel Antonio Amenábar replaced Sorin Enciulescu. Damazy Warka's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Andrei Oloieru read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. 72 minutes had been played when some careless play by Fotbal Club Vaslui's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Lauro Argandoña was slow to take the kick. During this time CSD Concepción's players had a chance to rest. Richard Murillo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Traian Traian, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. 74 minutes into the match, Fotbal Club Vaslui's goal looked a bit too open when Lauro Argandoña came free, but Andrei Oloieru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fotbal Club Vaslui's Andrei Oloieru proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Fotbal Club Vaslui from getting a goal against them. Andrei Oloieru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Antonio Amenábar, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Traian Traian in the 94th minute of play forced CSD Concepción's goalkeeper Richard Murillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Fotbal Club Vaslui's Andrei Oloieru got control of the ball when Baltazar Clavijo tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Fotbal Club Vaslui had won after a very even match.
