The tension between the San Nicolò Kings and the Du Esporte Clube players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, San Nicolò Kings's Alessandro Baston got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Du Esporte Clube were furious when Pablo Escobar was red carded, 6 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 6 played minutes Du Esporte Clube got a freekick which was hit by Pablo Escobar. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Du Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Markus Pflüger, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, San Nicolò Kings's Franco Catucci got control of the ball when Gualter Pitta tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 11 minutes, Davide Bertolini made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Du Esporte Clube's Markus Pflüger tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 15 minutes into the match, Du Esporte Clube's Sílvio Costa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Franco Catucci narrowly saved just below the crossbar. San Nicolò Kings's Franco Catucci proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save San Nicolò Kings from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Gualter Pitta put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Franco Catucci. Gualter Pitta might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Franco Catucci. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gualter Pitta ran back to his position shaking his head. Du Esporte Clube's Markus Pflüger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nedo Nadi in the 24th minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Nedo Nadi notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Du Esporte Clube's Markus Pflüger. Markus Pflüger was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 27th minute of the match, Gualter Pitta got a very nice opportunity to score, but Franco Catucci was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When Sílvio Costa came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Du Esporte Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sílvio Costa couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Du Esporte Clube's Pedro Luiz Novaes got a free kick in the 31st minute. Markus Pflüger didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nedo Nadi went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. San Nicolò Kings's Franco Catucci proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save San Nicolò Kings from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Davide Bertolini in the 37th minute of play forced Du Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Markus Pflüger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Markus Pflüger stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Davide Bertolini's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. The supporters of San Nicolò Kings booed when Du Esporte Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edu Cavalcante didn't get a good kick on the ball. Franco Catucci made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Gualter Pitta sent off a good shot on target. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Du Esporte Clube made a substitution. Eduardo Nascimento replaced Pedro Luiz Novaes. Markus Pflüger made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nedo Nadi in the 54th minute. Gualter Pitta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Franco Catucci tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Markus Pflüger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernesto Tagliente, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Du Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Markus Pflüger, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 69 minutes into the match, San Nicolò Kings's goal looked a bit too open when Sílvio Costa came free, but Franco Catucci reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gualter Pitta in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Franco Catucci saved San Nicolò Kings from getting behind. Nedo Nadi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Markus Pflüger read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. 75 minutes into the match, Du Esporte Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Davide Bertolini came free, but Markus Pflüger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Franco Catucci showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gualter Pitta, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. In the 81st minute, Gualter Pitta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. San Nicolò Kings's April Kul was substituted for Davide Bertolini. Markus Pflüger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from April Kul, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 89th match minute, Du Esporte Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gualter Pitta to maneuver through the defense. Nedo Nadi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 90thth minute tested the skills of Markus Pflüger when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Corrado Trevisani kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. In the 92nd minute of the match Rodolfo Castro sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Franco Catucci skillfully saved the ball. Ernesto Tagliente hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. In the 96thth minute of the game April Kul who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Du Esporte Clube's Markus Pflüger was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The San Nicolò Kings players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
