FC Borówiec's Borys Buffon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonardo Melberg in the 7th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adam Petka in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dan Lundström saved Leeds United FC from getting behind. FC Borówiec's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Michal Burufski in the 10th minute. Michal Burufski made a great header on FC Borówiec's corner, it was just that Leeds United FC's Dan Lundström managed to reach the ball for a save. Björn Alebäck was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 12 minutes into the match. Dan Lundström came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Borówiec's Konrad Bienienda. But to his dismay, Konrad Bienienda quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. FC Borówiec's defense didn't have a chance, in the 17th minute, when Logan Flesfadar scored to the left of an out of position Borys Buffon, making the score, 1-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Börje Lindsten in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Borys Buffon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 22nd minute, Adam Petka ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dan Lundström was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. After 25 minutes of play, Leeds United FC's Leonardo Melberg made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Borys Buffon was left in no man's land by his defense there! Konrad Bienienda hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. In the 28th minute Börje Lindsten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Borys Buffon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Konrad Bienienda made the kick off in the second half. Oleg Diletskiy spun around in front of the goal 53 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Leeds United FC's goal. Borys Buffon had in the 89thth minute some difficulties stopping Leonardo Melberg's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Borys Buffon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonardo Melberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adam Petka kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the FC Borówiec players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Leeds United FC.
