Cosme Francesco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Almir Britto in the 8th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Almir Britto in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cosme Francesco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 17thth minute of the game Almir Britto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MDQ Raptors FC's Cosme Francesco was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Daniel Järvenperä received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Romulo Benvide tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hermengildo Ursino in the 25th minute of play forced JORGE NEWBERY FUTBOL CLUB's goalkeeper Romulo Benvide to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, JORGE NEWBERY FUTBOL CLUB's Romulo Benvide got control of the ball when Teofilo Adrio tried to sneak it across the goal line. MDQ Raptors FC's Cosme Francesco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Almir Britto in the 34th minute of play. But to his dismay, Almir Britto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Almir Britto to strike the kick off in the second half. Romulo Benvide took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teofilo Adrio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pablo Garoa came free with the goalkeeper in the 56th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Cosme Francesco could save by the left post. Romulo Benvide showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hortêncio Godoi, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Cosme Francesco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pablo Garoa in the 63rd minute.
