With a little luck, Taura Cupincha-U18's Jânio Palmeira got control of the ball when Yves Passot tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Deportivo Galicia's Yves Passot in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Taura Cupincha-U18's goalie prevented a goal. Yves Passot could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Jânio Palmeira made a huge save. Yves Passot received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jânio Palmeira came out and tried to block the shot, but Yves Passot slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 17th minute. Deportivo Galicia's Ximenez Caneiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wiliam Fonseca in the 20th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yves Passot got free with Jânio Palmeira in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Yves Passot might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jânio Palmeira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Yves Passot ran back to his position shaking his head. Yves Passot could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Jânio Palmeira made a huge save. Taura Cupincha-U18's Jânio Palmeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yves Passot in the 26th minute of play. Yves Passot who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 28thth minute tested the skills of Jânio Palmeira when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 32nd minute Wiliam Fonseca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ximenez Caneiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Burt Cawthorne scored 2-0 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jânio Palmeira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 38 minutes into the game, Juan Fernando Pratto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wiliam Fonseca was the one to do the kick off. Jânio Palmeira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xacintu Magadan in the 52nd minute of play. Deportivo Galicia were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after Taura Cupincha-U18's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Nicasio Guipuzcoa took the corner. 55 minutes into the match, Burt Cawthorne had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jânio Palmeira. Taura Cupincha-U18's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Burt Cawthorne was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. In the 60th minute Xacintu Magadan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jânio Palmeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Burt Cawthorne came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Deportivo Galicia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Burt Cawthorne couldn't finish the play. Taura Cupincha-U18 made a substitution. Jânio Palmeira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
