The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Mihnea Pogea struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Anders Gade didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BK Värdsholmen. With a little luck, Alianza FC's Anders Gade got control of the ball when Ludwig Magnusson tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 19 minutes, Marin Ciprian managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alianza FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marin Ciprian was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Wart Hemeleers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marin Ciprian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute of the match Alianza FC got a corner. BK Värdsholmen's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Benedicto Gayferos ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Benedicto Gayferos got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Wart Hemeleers quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Anders Gade took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ludwig Magnusson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wart Hemeleers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cordara Herbon in the 36th minute of play. 38 minutes into the game, Rickard Bokelund recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Anders Gade. Rickard Bokelund showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. BK Värdsholmen's Wart Hemeleers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marin Ciprian in the 43rd minute of play. A collision led to BK Värdsholmen getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Kåre Käcker hit a great ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The supporters of BK Värdsholmen booed when Alianza FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardino Ascargorta didn't get a good kick on the ball. 57 minutes into the match, BK Värdsholmen's goalkeeper Wart Hemeleers had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marin Ciprian. The corner led Alianza FC's Benedicto Gayferos to fire away a dangerous shot which Wart Hemeleers despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Alianza FC's Anders Gade played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evert Åkesson in the 60th minute of play. Wart Hemeleers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marin Ciprian in the 63rd minute of play. Wart Hemeleers was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Marin Ciprian showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 67 minute of play. The supporters of Alianza FC booed when BK Värdsholmen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nico Belić didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nico Belić hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Alianza FC's Benedicto Gayferos couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 75th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for BK Värdsholmen. Alianza FC's Marin Ciprian got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evert Åkesson in the 83rd minute of play forced Alianza FC's goalkeeper Anders Gade to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anders Gade came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by BK Värdsholmen's Björn Mårtensson. But to his dismay, Björn Mårtensson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Marin Ciprian could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Wart Hemeleers made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marin Ciprian in the 93rd minute of play forced BK Värdsholmen's goalkeeper Wart Hemeleers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benedicto Gayferos kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. BK Värdsholmen's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
