An unexpectedly hard shot by Arkadiusz Witwicki in the 10th minute of play forced Sport Lisboa e Benfica's goalkeeper Raimundo Coimbra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, BESTIA GDAŃSK's Cezary Kalak got a free kick in the 11th minute. Abdulbaki Tanay made a great header on BESTIA GDAŃSK's corner, it was just that Sport Lisboa e Benfica's Raimundo Coimbra managed to reach the ball for a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ignat Pantov in the 23rd minute of play forced BESTIA GDAŃSK's goalkeeper Leszek Huchro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd match minute, BESTIA GDAŃSK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filip Soetemans to maneuver through the defense. 34 minutes into the match, BESTIA GDAŃSK's goal looked a bit too open when Eduardo Severiano came free, but Leszek Huchro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 38th minute, Lucas Sesimbra ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leszek Huchro was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Raimundo Coimbra made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Leonard Andrzejewski sent off a good shot on target. Leszek Huchro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ignat Pantov, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ignat Pantov made a kick off. BESTIA GDAŃSK's Leszek Huchro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ignat Pantov in the 53rd minute of play. 56 minutes into the game, Ignat Pantov recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Leszek Huchro. Ignat Pantov showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Leszek Huchro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ignat Pantov's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. Raimundo Coimbra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonard Andrzejewski in the 61st minute of play. In the 62nd minute of the match BESTIA GDAŃSK got a corner. Sport Lisboa e Benfica's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Arkadiusz Witwicki ran over to the corner to take the kick. After a defensive mix-up in BESTIA GDAŃSK's zone, Eduardo Severiano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leszek Huchro came out of the goal and Eduardo Severiano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leonard Andrzejewski charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leonard Andrzejewski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Sport Lisboa e Benfica booed when BESTIA GDAŃSK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonard Andrzejewski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sport Lisboa e Benfica's Kağan Özduru was substituted for Lucas Sesimbra. Sport Lisboa e Benfica made a substitution. Ivo Palha replaced Eduardo Severiano. The supporters of Sport Lisboa e Benfica booed when BESTIA GDAŃSK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victorio Bertin didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 77 minutes, Ignat Pantov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sport Lisboa e Benfica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ignat Pantov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Raimundo Coimbra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cezary Kalak in the 84th minute of the match. Leszek Huchro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Haimo Kettner in the 86th minute. With a little luck, BESTIA GDAŃSK's Leszek Huchro got control of the ball when Ivo Palha tried to sneak it across the goal line. BESTIA GDAŃSK's Leszek Huchro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ignat Pantov in the 92nd minute of play. When the match was over Sport Lisboa e Benfica could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than BESTIA GDAŃSK throughout the match.
