The audience was convinced that Gilberto Gai's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Basilio Neto was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Duendes Verdes's goalkeeper Basilio Neto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 14 minutes had been played when some careless play by Duendes Verdes's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gilberto Gai was slow to take the kick. During this time FusbalClub Swietochlowice's players had a chance to rest. FusbalClub Swietochlowice's Gilberto Gai was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Basilio Neto in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 15th minute, Zacarias Turi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Basilio Neto didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when FusbalClub Swietochlowice's Gilberto Gai shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Gilberto Gai might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Basilio Neto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gilberto Gai ran back to his position shaking his head. If Gilberto Gai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Daniel Owsiak came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the FusbalClub Swietochlowice fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Owsiak couldn't finish the play. After 40th play minutes Gilberto Gai shot 0-6, a short shot which went by Basilio Neto and just under the crossbar into goal. 43 minutes into the match, Gilberto Gai notched a goal, 0-7, to the right of Duendes Verdes's Basilio Neto. Basilio Neto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gilberto Gai might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Basilio Neto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gilberto Gai ran back to his position shaking his head. Disappointed in the 0-7 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gilberto Gai made a kick off. After some careless play in the Duendes Verdes defense, Roch Bilicki kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Basilio Neto. The Duendes Verdes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Basilio Neto should have stopped the shot. In the 55th minute, FusbalClub Swietochlowice's Daniel Owsiak dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-9. FusbalClub Swietochlowice's Igor Glozor was substituted for Gilberto Gai. 66 minutes into the game, Igor Glozor cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-11. Basilio Neto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Basilio Neto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Igor Glozor in the 72nd minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, Roch Bilicki dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Basilio Neto, 0-12. FusbalClub Swietochlowice made a substitution. Cyprian Cholewa replaced Daniel Owsiak. Cyprian Cholewa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Basilio Neto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Igor Glozor, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. When the match clock showed 86 minutes, the score became 0-13 when Igor Glozor sped through Duendes Verdes's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Basilio Neto. 89 minutes into the match, Duendes Verdes's goal looked a bit too open when Cyprian Cholewa came free, but Basilio Neto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Igor Glozor in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Basilio Neto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Duendes Verdes fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FusbalClub Swietochlowice were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
