Ricardo Cassagne sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gerardo Beard in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ariel Gustau saved Legio X Eqvestris from getting behind. Ariel Gustau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dwight Schrute in the 14th minute of play. In the 16th minute Gerardo Beard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ariel Gustau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, Brooklyn SC's goal looked a bit too open when Pablo Aimar came free, but Jospeh McNally reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ariel Gustau showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerardo Beard in the 21st minute of the match. Jospeh McNally showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricardo Cassagne, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. When Brooklyn SC's Jonas Cole in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Legio X Eqvestris's goalie prevented a goal. 30 minutes into the game, Jonas Cole lined in a short shot 1-1 behind a frustrated Ariel Gustau. Jospeh McNally showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roald Ahland in the 34th minute of the match. Ariel Gustau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerardo Beard in the 36th minute of play. Gerardo Beard in the 44thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ariel Gustau, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 47 minutes into the match, Brooklyn SC's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelino Kimetz came free, but Jospeh McNally reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gerardo Beard to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Brooklyn SC's Jonas Cole sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ariel Gustau narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jospeh McNally made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luis Navarro in the 54th minute. Brooklyn SC's Jospeh McNally played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Navarro in the 58th minute of play. José Paradela charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed José Paradela the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Brooklyn SC made a substitution. Serginho Ramos replaced Sebastián Olivarez. After a rather tough play, Legio X Eqvestris's José Paradela got a free kick in the 65th minute. Ariel Gustau didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Elliot Whitley went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Ariel Gustau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerardo Beard in the 70th minute of play. Gerardo Beard struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Ariel Gustau didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brooklyn SC. In the 75th minute Mano Loco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ariel Gustau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 76th minute of the match Brooklyn SC got a corner. Legio X Eqvestris's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jonas Cole ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Brooklyn SC's Ollie Mejia getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Ariel Gustau took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dwight Schrute, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Legio X Eqvestris booed when Brooklyn SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elliot Whitley didn't get a good kick on the ball. 89 minutes into the match, Legio X Eqvestris's goal looked a bit too open when Trenton Long came free, but Ariel Gustau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonas Cole in the 93rd minute of play forced Legio X Eqvestris's goalkeeper Ariel Gustau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ariel Gustau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mano Loco in the 95th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Brooklyn SC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
