In the 14th minute, Romelu Lukaku ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vítor Silva was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Palloketut's Yan Chong Sen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernandão Carneiro in the 18th minute of play. Vítor Silva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romelu Lukaku in the 20th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Palloketut's zone, Fernandão Carneiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yan Chong Sen came out of the goal and Fernandão Carneiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Romelu Lukaku came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Palloketut fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Romelu Lukaku couldn't finish the play. Vítor Silva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romelu Lukaku, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Claudinei Ferreira charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Claudinei Ferreira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 42nd minute, Claudinei Ferreira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in FLACONQUISTA's zone, Romelu Lukaku stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vítor Silva came out of the goal and Romelu Lukaku tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Romelu Lukaku was the one to do the kick off. Doğuş Turabi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Vítor Silva made a huge save. In the 54th minute of the match Palloketut got a corner. FLACONQUISTA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Doğuş Turabi ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 55 minutes FLACONQUISTA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Doğuş Turabi who took care of the corner kick. Romelu Lukaku succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-3 in the 57th playminute. Romelu Lukaku might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vítor Silva. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Romelu Lukaku ran back to his position shaking his head. Yan Chong Sen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernandão Carneiro in the 67th minute of the match. 69 minutes had been played when some careless play by Palloketut's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Celso Britto was slow to take the kick. During this time FLACONQUISTA's players had a chance to rest. Voitto Nyrhinen kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Romelu Lukaku might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vítor Silva. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Romelu Lukaku ran back to his position shaking his head. Álvaro Hermes hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Doğuş Turabi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Palloketut's supporters rose to their feet, but Doğuş Turabi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vítor Silva breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 89 minutes into the match, Romelu Lukaku had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vítor Silva. FLACONQUISTA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Romelu Lukaku was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. Romelu Lukaku succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-5 in the 93rd playminute. The Palloketut players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
