An unexpectedly hard shot by Frutos Baltanas in the 5th minute of play forced Xinosfreba 13's goalkeeper Clemente Dante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 10 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Nacional's goalkeeper Gora Argandona had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Shen Jun Peng. Sever Rădescu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Clemente Dante having to make a save. Tiago Ozuna's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Clemente Dante read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. Bruno Alves kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Shen Jun Peng in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gora Argandona saved Club Atletico Nacional from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atletico Nacional's zone, Shen Jun Peng stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gora Argandona came out of the goal and Shen Jun Peng tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Shen Jun Peng got free with Gora Argandona in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 32nd minute of the match Xinosfreba 13 got a corner. Club Atletico Nacional's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Giovani Faria ran over to the corner to take the kick. At last the ball reached Alfredinho Pires at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Club Atletico Nacional. 1-0. Frutos Baltanas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Xinosfreba 13 booed when Club Atletico Nacional was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aurre Prelo didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Shen Jun Peng was the one to do the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Laércio Dionísio during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Club Atletico Nacional booed when Xinosfreba 13 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laércio Dionísio didn't get a good kick on the ball. The corner led Xinosfreba 13's Giovani Faria to fire away a dangerous shot which Gora Argandona despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The Xinosfreba 13 players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
