Damián Åkerman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Emil Cvitanović having to make a save. 18 minutes into the match, MKS Maczka's goal looked a bit too open when Damián Åkerman came free, but Emil Cvitanović reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Igor Fleischer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When INTER de Córdoba's Damián Åkerman in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When Eugeniusz Kolbert came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the MKS Maczka fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eugeniusz Kolbert couldn't finish the play. 31 minutes into the match, INTER de Córdoba's Damián Åkerman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Emil Cvitanović narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 32 minutes MKS Maczka's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Genaro Tauro who took care of the corner kick. The corner led INTER de Córdoba's Genaro Tauro to fire away a dangerous shot which Emil Cvitanović despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. A collision led to MKS Maczka getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Roch Janiczek hit a great ball. The throw-in from Cristi Gârbovan in the 40th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by INTER de Córdoba's Laureano DAndrea. Emil Cvitanović took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damián Åkerman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The wind increased when Damián Åkerman made the kick off in the second half. A throw-in in the 52nd minute of the game was made by Hakkı Devrim Erensoy with Igor Fleischer as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Santiago Torres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugeniusz Kolbert, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. With an all-out effort, INTER de Córdoba's Emil Cvitanović threw himself towards the right post 73 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Damián Åkerman, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 0-1 became the score in the 82nd minute when Damián Åkerman elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. INTER de Córdoba's Dante Isauro was substituted for Damián Åkerman. INTER de Córdoba's Cheng Qian Qiang was substituted for Teobaldo Monico. Emil Cvitanović made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dante Isauro in the 89th minute of play. After a rather tough play, MKS Maczka's Dariusz Biegun got a free kick in the 91st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dante Isauro in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emil Cvitanović saved MKS Maczka from getting behind.
