Amílton Matos made in the 13th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Luiz Fernando Ferraz immediately put the ball in play. The supporters of FC Colo - Colo booed when Microsoft Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Egídio Proença didn't get a good kick on the ball. 20 minutes into the game, Ernesto Bertassi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Microsoft Team's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Colo - Colo the free kick. After a rather tough play, Microsoft Team's Ernesto Bertassi got a free kick in the 20th minute. After 26th play minutes Günter Pich shot 0-4, a short shot which went by Décio Barbosa and just under the crossbar into goal. 30 minutes into the match, Microsoft Team's goal looked a bit too open when Günter Pich came free, but Décio Barbosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Microsoft Team defense, Günter Pich kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Décio Barbosa. The Microsoft Team fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Décio Barbosa should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miloň Bartko in the 36th minute of play forced Microsoft Team's goalkeeper Décio Barbosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 36 minutes into the game, Petr Švandrlík was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Colo - Colo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Microsoft Team the free kick. After a rather tough play, FC Colo - Colo's Petr Švandrlík got a free kick in the 36th minute. FC Colo - Colo's attentive Vítězslav Netopil managed to snatch the ball when Amílton Matos made a throw-in in the 39th minute of the game. Décio Barbosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Günter Pich in the 40th minute of play. In the 40th match minute, Microsoft Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Narciso Cardoso to maneuver through the defense. Décio Barbosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Günter Pich, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Narciso Cardoso kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Microsoft Team's Ernesto Bertassi got his second yellow card of the match in the 46th minute. The referee ordered Ernesto Bertassi off the ground. The supporters of FC Colo - Colo booed when Microsoft Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernesto Bertassi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Günter Pich to strike the kick off in the second half. Günter Pich sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Miloň Bartko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Décio Barbosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Günter Pich in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Décio Barbosa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The throw-in from Dedê Cosme in the 63rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by FC Colo - Colo's Dalibor Nešpor. Narciso Cardoso kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. The supporters of Microsoft Team booed when FC Colo - Colo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miloň Bartko didn't get a good kick on the ball. Décio Barbosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miloň Bartko in the 69th minute of the match. 71 minutes into the match, Microsoft Team's goal looked a bit too open when Günter Pich came free, but Décio Barbosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 87th minute, Günter Pich got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Miloň Bartko received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Décio Barbosa came out and tried to block the shot, but Miloň Bartko slotted it home off the left post making it 0-7 in the 88th minute. Décio Barbosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miloň Bartko in the 96th minute of the match. FC Colo - Colo's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
