Konstanty Joks could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Leonardo Loco made a huge save. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Atlético Matorrales's goalkeeper Leonardo Loco, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Tadeo Quilino made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Nichifor Arsene threw the ball into play from the sideline. Atlético Matorrales's Isidoro Menezes quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Liviu Găvănescu in the 57th minute. 65 minutes into the match, PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN's goal looked a bit too open when Tadeo Quilino came free, but Costel Lăcătușu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 83rd minute of the match, Severiano Ebardo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Costel Lăcătușu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 86th match minute, Atlético Matorrales was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonas Bilintx to maneuver through the defense. Edgar Florescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Leonardo Loco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 94 minutes into the match, Atlético Matorrales's goal looked a bit too open when Edgar Florescu came free, but Leonardo Loco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle, PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN could leave the field as winners, despite Atlético Matorrales having more of the ball for most of the match.
