The tension between the OldHighburyInvincibles and the EL PEPO FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Emilio Masetti kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. After some careless play in the OldHighburyInvincibles defense, Elvio Rainerio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of André Onana. The OldHighburyInvincibles fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that André Onana should have stopped the shot. Samuel Sotero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. André Onana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 17th minute, Luka Toni ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Romulo Jon was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Freddy Camerino during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 22nd minute, Freddy Camerino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 26 minutes of play EL PEPO FC's Freddy Camerino was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Freddy Camerino hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. If Sérgio Conceicão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luka Toni during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Pascual Rey took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 30th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for André Onana. OldHighburyInvincibles's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Sérgio Conceicão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luka Toni might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Romulo Jon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luka Toni ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 43rd minute, OldHighburyInvincibles's Luka Toni ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Romulo Jon. Romulo Jon yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. Joaquin Tonio charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joaquin Tonio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Elvio Rainerio made a kick off. Anfilogino Colasante fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romulo Jon having to interfere. Luka Toni struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Romulo Jon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for OldHighburyInvincibles. EL PEPO FC made a substitution. Mariano Noe replaced Samuel Sotero. EL PEPO FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
