Cayetano Francho stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rodolfo Porfirio's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodolfo Porfirio in the 7th minute of play forced Patay Juniors's goalkeeper Cayetano Francho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Patay Juniors's Cayetano Francho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodolfo Porfirio in the 10th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rodolfo Porfirio in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cayetano Francho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 14 minutes into the match, Patay Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Rodolfo Porfirio came free, but Cayetano Francho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cayetano Francho came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Pianello del Lario FC's Rodolfo Porfirio. But to his dismay, Rodolfo Porfirio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. After some careless play in the Patay Juniors defense, Rodolfo Porfirio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cayetano Francho. The Patay Juniors fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cayetano Francho should have stopped the shot. Ciro Quin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 32 played minutes Patay Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Norberto Naelio. Teobaldo Ermano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rodolfo Porfirio scored 0-5 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cayetano Francho, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fredrik Stokland made an important save on a dangerous shot by Prospero Petri in the 38th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodolfo Porfirio in the 43rd minute of play forced Patay Juniors's goalkeeper Cayetano Francho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 47 minutes into the match, Patay Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Rodolfo Porfirio came free, but Cayetano Francho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pianello del Lario FC's Petre Simionescu was substituted for Ciro Quin. In the 49th minute Pianello del Lario FC were awarded a corner. Rodolfo Porfirio went to the cornerflag to take it. The supporters of Patay Juniors booed when Pianello del Lario FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rigoberto Lain didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half Pianello del Lario FC were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Pianello del Lario FC made a substitution. Paolo Balendin replaced Teobaldo Ermano. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Prospero Petri to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgard Ledesma in the 56th minute of play forced Pianello del Lario FC's goalkeeper Fredrik Stokland to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 57 played minutes Pianello del Lario FC got a freekick which was hit by Petre Simionescu. Carolo Ermengol charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carolo Ermengol the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Carolo Ermengol hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. The throw-in from Carolo Ermengol in the 64th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Pianello del Lario FC's Lorenzo Dimo. The supporters of Pianello del Lario FC booed when Patay Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leo Chesus didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rodolfo Porfirio might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cayetano Francho. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rodolfo Porfirio ran back to his position shaking his head. 68 minutes into the match, Patay Juniors's goalkeeper Cayetano Francho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rodolfo Porfirio. 69 minutes into the match, Pianello del Lario FC's Rodolfo Porfirio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cayetano Francho narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rodolfo Porfirio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Patay Juniors's Cayetano Francho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Patay Juniors from getting a goal against them. 79 minutes had been played when some careless play by Patay Juniors's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Rodolfo Porfirio was slow to take the kick. During this time Pianello del Lario FC's players had a chance to rest. With a little luck, Patay Juniors's Cayetano Francho got control of the ball when Rodolfo Porfirio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cayetano Francho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodolfo Porfirio in the 86th minute of the match. A well-hit corner resulted in Petre Simionescu heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Petre Simionescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pianello del Lario FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Petre Simionescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cayetano Francho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Patay Juniors's Cayetano Francho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to save Patay Juniors from getting a goal against them. After 98 played minutes Pianello del Lario FC got a freekick which was hit by Petre Simionescu. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Pianello del Lario FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
