In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind AFC Richmond's goalkeeper Hubert Sharp, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mitchell Baker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Club Almirante Brown's Prospero Abad got a free kick in the 11th minute. In the 12th minute, one of Club Almirante Brown:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Club Almirante Brown. Esteban Kaiet had in the 14thth minute some difficulties stopping Derek Yu's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Club Almirante Brown's Esteban Kaiet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mitchell Baker in the 15th minute of play. Esteban Kaiet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Krystian Żmuda, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Esteban Kaiet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Krystian Żmuda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Krystian Żmuda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Esteban Kaiet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Veto Steller in the 27th minute of the match. Veto Steller took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Esteban Kaiet. Esteban Kaiet dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Veto Steller in the 36th minute of play forced Club Almirante Brown's goalkeeper Esteban Kaiet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Veto Steller's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Esteban Kaiet was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. After 40 minutes Club Almirante Brown's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mitchell Baker who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Krystian Żmuda got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Esteban Kaiet quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When the match clock showed 40 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Krystian Żmuda sped through Club Almirante Brown's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Esteban Kaiet. Justo Paublo kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wilfredo Segio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When AFC Richmond's Aurelian Remus in 53 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Esteban Kaiet guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Derek Yu took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Esteban Kaiet. Esteban Kaiet dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Club Almirante Brown's Esteban Kaiet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Derek Yu in the 61st minute of play. Wilfredo Segio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Club Almirante Brown's Mateo Berbiz was substituted for Benedicto Chale. In the 65thth minute of the game Wilfredo Segio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AFC Richmond's Hubert Sharp was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Krystian Żmuda's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 67thth minute, Esteban Kaiet skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. AFC Richmond's Fatsali Hamdi was substituted for Sanford Glenn. 77 minutes into the game, AFC Richmond's Krystian Żmuda nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Esteban Kaiet made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. In the 81st minute, Veto Steller made a precise shot to the right of Esteban Kaiet. Club Almirante Brown's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. After a rather tough play, Club Almirante Brown's Nicanor Ceandro got a free kick in the 87th minute. In the 91st minute, Krystian Żmuda ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Esteban Kaiet was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. In the 94th match minute, Club Almirante Brown was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilfredo Segio to maneuver through the defense. 95 minutes into the match, Club Almirante Brown's goal looked a bit too open when Veto Steller came free, but Esteban Kaiet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 97 minutes had been played when some careless play by Club Almirante Brown's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Erasmo Merchant was slow to take the kick. During this time AFC Richmond's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on AFC Richmond's corner Erasmo Merchant fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Esteban Kaiet quite easily take care of the ball. AFC Richmond played a much better game than Club Almirante Brown and deserved their victory. The Club Almirante Brown players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
