Spectators: 165 (Terracing: 124, Seating: 38, VIP seats: 3) Champions Iasi's Róbert Pál-Szabó started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the game, BSC Thunder Arvutitark's Grujica Pekaric nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Frank Lauria made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Frank Lauria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Grujica Pekaric in the 7th minute of play. Frank Lauria came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by BSC Thunder Arvutitark's Grujica Pekaric. But to his dismay, Grujica Pekaric quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 12th minute Augustin Potopea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frank Lauria saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. João Vítor Salles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 19th match minute, Champions Iasi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ioan Andone to maneuver through the defense. BSC Thunder Arvutitark's Gia Buffon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Róbert Pál-Szabó in the 21st minute of play. Gia Buffon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Róbert Pál-Szabó went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Champions Iasi's Frank Lauria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lembit Pentus in the 26th minute of play. Gia Buffon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Róbert Pál-Szabó in the 32nd minute of play. BSC Thunder Arvutitark's Gia Buffon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save BSC Thunder Arvutitark from getting a goal against them. Róbert Pál-Szabó was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 45th minute. Champions Iasi's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Róbert Pál-Szabó got free with Gia Buffon in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-2 at half-time.

The wind increased when Grujica Pekaric made the kick off in the second half. BSC Thunder Arvutitark's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Lembit Pentus in the 53rd minute. After 56 minutes of play, Champions Iasi's Vasile Mumuleanu made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gia Buffon was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of BSC Thunder Arvutitark booed when Champions Iasi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vasile Mumuleanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. 63 minutes into the match, BSC Thunder Arvutitark's goal looked a bit too open when Vasile Mumuleanu came free, but Gia Buffon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vasile Mumuleanu in the 68th minute of play forced BSC Thunder Arvutitark's goalkeeper Gia Buffon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 71 minutes had been played when some careless play by BSC Thunder Arvutitark's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Iustin Coporan was slow to take the kick. During this time Champions Iasi's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Champions Iasi's Iustin Coporan to fire away a dangerous shot which Gia Buffon despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Champions Iasi's Róbert Pál-Szabó got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Róbert Pál-Szabó received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Gia Buffon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to BSC Thunder Arvutitark getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Robi Kund hit a great ball. If Vasile Mumuleanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iustin Coporan in the 90th minute of play forced BSC Thunder Arvutitark's goalkeeper Gia Buffon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Róbert Pál-Szabó's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gia Buffon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. Champions Iasi were awarded a corner in the 93th minute after BSC Thunder Arvutitark's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Iustin Coporan took the corner. The corner ended in Iustin Coporan almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but BSC Thunder Arvutitark's Gia Buffon did a great save. The supporters of Champions Iasi booed when BSC Thunder Arvutitark was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Grujica Pekaric didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 96th minute, Róbert Pál-Szabó got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
