Oskar Gullesson might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edmundas Sabaliauskas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Oskar Gullesson ran back to his position shaking his head. Edmundas Sabaliauskas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oskar Gullesson in the 15th minute of play. Edmundas Sabaliauskas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aron Karlberg in the 16th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, FC Egydasas's goal looked a bit too open when Herman Alefors came free, but Edmundas Sabaliauskas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 23 minutes, Herman Alefors mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Samba Fotboll U21 and the FC Egydasas players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in FC Egydasas's zone, Oskar Gullesson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edmundas Sabaliauskas came out of the goal and Oskar Gullesson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Samba Fotboll U21's Herman Alefors got a free kick in the 31st minute. FC Egydasas's Edmundas Sabaliauskas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oskar Gullesson in the 33rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Oskar Gullesson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edmundas Sabaliauskas was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. After 40 minutes Samba Fotboll U21's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Deimantas Erčius who took care of the corner kick. After some careless play in the FC Egydasas defense, Nacho Friday kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edmundas Sabaliauskas. The FC Egydasas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edmundas Sabaliauskas should have stopped the shot. Aron Karlberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edmundas Sabaliauskas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Juras Svetulevičius to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute Aron Karlberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmundas Sabaliauskas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oskar Gullesson had several of the FC Egydasas's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 57 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-3 score and a disappointed Edmundas Sabaliauskas as he didn't even see the shot coming. Edmundas Sabaliauskas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herman Alefors in the 61st minute of play. Fredrik Söderberg's late challenge caught a FC Egydasas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fredrik Söderberg helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of FC Egydasas booed when Samba Fotboll U21 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fredrik Söderberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 66th minute, Aron Karlberg reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Edmundas Sabaliauskas. The goal made the score 0-4. 69 minutes into the match, FC Egydasas's goalkeeper Edmundas Sabaliauskas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elias Meck. 70 minutes into the match, FC Egydasas's goal looked a bit too open when Aron Karlberg came free, but Edmundas Sabaliauskas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Herman Alefors recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Samba Fotboll U21's Herman Alefors got a free kick in the 81st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aron Karlberg in the 85th minute of play forced FC Egydasas's goalkeeper Edmundas Sabaliauskas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edmundas Sabaliauskas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aron Karlberg in the 87th minute of play. The Samba Fotboll U21 players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
