Spectators: 184 (Terracing: 139, Seating: 42, VIP seats: 3) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Feliberto Otsando got the match started through his kick off. In the 2nd minute Christian Lesardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Štefan Semeno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. AFK Petržalka's Štefan Semeno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Feliberto Otsando in the 4th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victorino Tallia in the 6th minute of play forced AFK Petržalka's goalkeeper Štefan Semeno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 12 minutes into the match, AFK Petržalka's Tomáš Požgaj sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Attilio Perna narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, AFK Petržalka's Tomáš Požgaj got a free kick in the 17th minute. A collision led to Graneros getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Leon Annilker hit a great ball. Tomáš Požgaj was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 22nd minute. AFK Petržalka's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomáš Požgaj in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Attilio Perna saved Graneros from getting behind. 28 minutes into the match, AFK Petržalka's goal looked a bit too open when Feliberto Otsando came free, but Štefan Semeno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomáš Požgaj might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Attilio Perna. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomáš Požgaj ran back to his position shaking his head. Attilio Perna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomáš Požgaj, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Igor Bališ took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Attilio Perna. Attilio Perna dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Tomáš Požgaj's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Attilio Perna read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. After 42 minutes Graneros's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Peter Pekarík who took care of the corner kick. In the 43rd minute Christian Lesardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Štefan Semeno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to AFK Petržalka getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Okoyomon Charles Bukowski hit a great ball. Victorino Tallia struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Štefan Semeno didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Graneros. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

AFK Petržalka's Štefan Semeno proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 50th minute of the match, managed to save AFK Petržalka from getting a goal against them. Tomáš Požgaj scored 2-0 in the 51st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Attilio Perna, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 54 minutes into the match, AFK Petržalka's goalkeeper Štefan Semeno had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Feliberto Otsando. Attilio Perna came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by AFK Petržalka's Tomáš Požgaj. But to his dismay, Tomáš Požgaj quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Graneros made a substitution. Bogumil Dombrowski replaced Leon Annilker. After 67 minutes AFK Petržalka's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Victorino Tallia who took care of the corner kick. Victorino Tallia made in the 70th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Ye Zheng Ming immediately put the ball in play. If Martin Petráš had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Igor Bališ received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Attilio Perna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomáš Požgaj in the 78th minute of play forced Graneros's goalkeeper Attilio Perna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80th minute Ye Zheng Ming shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Štefan Semeno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 80 minutes into the match, AFK Petržalka's goal looked a bit too open when Feliberto Otsando came free, but Štefan Semeno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adam Obert hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The AFK Petržalka fans cheered their team off the field, for while Graneros had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
