The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jan Huijsmans helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, ROJO's Jan Huijsmans got a free kick in the 4th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Rune Grøndalen kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Aldo Kaxen. That made the score 1-0 in the 5 minute of play. 8 minutes into the game, Olof Leknes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. NTA19's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ROJO the free kick. Olof Leknes hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Aldo Kaxen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rune Grøndalen in the 13th minute of the match. A collision led to NTA19 getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Martin Landro hit a great ball. In the 25th minute Erubiel Aureo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan-Frode Aarseth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jan Huijsmans struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Jan-Frode Aarseth didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ROJO. Jan-Frode Aarseth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erubiel Aureo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan Huijsmans in the 33rd minute of play forced NTA19's goalkeeper Jan-Frode Aarseth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jan-Frode Aarseth showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jan Huijsmans made a kick off. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Jan Huijsmans took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Jan-Frode Aarseth to make any attempt to save it. Aldo Kaxen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rune Grøndalen in the 60th minute of play. Fabricio Huly struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Jan-Frode Aarseth didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ROJO. With his leg Jan-Frode Aarseth managed to avoid a goal in the 68thth minute, when ROJO's Erubiel Aureo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A collision led to NTA19 getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Rune Grøndalen hit a great ball. During the 72nd minute of the match Jan Huijsmans completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Jan Huijsmans a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 72nd minute, Jan Huijsmans hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ladislao Jokin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Jan-Frode Aarseth made a huge save. A sloppy throw-in by Christer Eidsvåg in the 78th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by ROJO's Bonifacio Dino. Rune Grøndalen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rune Grøndalen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aldo Kaxen having to interfere. After 87 played minutes NTA19 got a freekick which was hit by Ørjan Hauger. Jan-Frode Aarseth made an important save on a dangerous shot by Erubiel Aureo in the 93rd minute.
