Anton Kjellkvist made in the 15th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Danton Keam. Uwe Septinius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adriano Ribeiro in the 20th minute of play. Federico Insúa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The Obscurials's Anton Kjellkvist quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Paolo Xabat, made in the 33rd minute of the game. Anton Kjellkvist made in the 35th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Los Liquisue FC's Paolo Xabat. Uwe Septinius was a little too slow when Adriano Ribeiro got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 37th minute. The score was now 1-1. Federico Insúa scored 1-2 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Safet Hands, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half Los Liquisue FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Federico Insúa was the one to do the kick off. Safet Hands took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Federico Insúa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 55 minutes into the game, The Obscurials's Adriano Ribeiro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Uwe Septinius made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Los Liquisue FC's José Pedro Arce was substituted for Flavio Vincente. Uwe Septinius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nelson Wright, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Safet Hands showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Federico Insúa, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. The Obscurials made a substitution. Cliff Rowden replaced Danton Keam. In the 70th match minute, The Obscurials was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicasio Guillen to maneuver through the defense. Uwe Septinius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adriano Ribeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Safet Hands made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abel Aureo in the 78th minute. Nicasio Guillen kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Federico Insúa ran back to his position shaking his head. Uwe Septinius came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by The Obscurials's Adriano Ribeiro. But to his dismay, Adriano Ribeiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. In the 85th minute Federico Insúa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Safet Hands saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cliff Rowden charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cliff Rowden the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 88 played minutes The Obscurials got a freekick which was hit by Cliff Rowden. The audience thought a goal was coming when Norberto Acevedo got free with Safet Hands in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Safet Hands showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Federico Insúa in the 91st minute of the match. Nicasio Guillen got a throw-in 94 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Adriano Ribeiro. 95 minutes into the game, Paolo Xabat was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Los Liquisue FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave The Obscurials the free kick. Paolo Xabat kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The The Obscurials fans cheered their team off the field, for while Los Liquisue FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
