The audience was convinced that Eustaquio Tiadoro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Diego Mian was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. Tomás Maule was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tomás Maule showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aldo Tocchetto, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Disappointed in the 0-6 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eustaquio Tiadoro made a kick off. Giuseppe Basso who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 53rdth minute tested the skills of Tomás Maule when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Cristoforo De Tommasi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomás Maule made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Giuseppe Basso sent off a good shot on target. Marcial Rosio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Herberia Herons's Diego Mian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eustaquio Tiadoro in the 62nd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Aldo Tocchetto took a quick shot and it went in 0-8 without a chance for Tomás Maule to make any attempt to save it. Tomás Maule didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 67th minute, which inside left pole to 0-9. Bendito Sea El Fernet's Tomás Maule proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Bendito Sea El Fernet from getting a goal against them. Bendito Sea El Fernet's Tomás Maule played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aldo Tocchetto in the 73rd minute of play. Bendito Sea El Fernet's Marcial Rosio got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 80 minutes into the match, Bendito Sea El Fernet's goal looked a bit too open when Aldo Tocchetto came free, but Tomás Maule reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 87th minute, Arturo Bergomi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Herberia Herons fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-11. The supporters of Bendito Sea El Fernet booed when Herberia Herons was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ercole Bizzarri didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match was over Herberia Herons could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Bendito Sea El Fernet throughout the match.
