Bunda Lele took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sylwester Domaradzki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luisão Ribeiro's late challenge caught a Villa Ballester FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luisão Ribeiro helped the player get up and apologised. After 33 played minutes Remedios SC got a freekick which was hit by Luisão Ribeiro. A collision led to Villa Ballester FC getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Efrain Galtero hit a great ball. Bunda Lele showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saverio Perez, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Dom Fredon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 46 minutes Remedios SC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Harry Maguire who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Villa Ballester FC's corner Harry Maguire fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Bunda Lele quite easily take care of the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dom Fredon stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The throw-in from Prudencio Orlan in the 84th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Remedios SC's Luisão Ribeiro. The Remedios SC fans' excitement grew in the 85th match minute when Remedios SC's Dom Fredon looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Dom Fredon might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Miloslav Rožnovský. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out.
