Spectators: 155 (Terracing: 117, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) FC Kuru's Toomas Mustkivi started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Petre Encuțescu made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Ando Rakso sent off a good shot on target. In the 4th minute of the match FC Kuru got a corner. Zecku's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Toomas Mustkivi ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Toomas Mustkivi almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Zecku's Petre Encuțescu did a great save. With 9 minutes on the clock, Jan Lehto commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 8th minute, one of FC Kuru:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC Kuru. 11 minutes into the game, Wilfredo Lazcano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Raivo Püss was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Petre Encuțescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kristofer Noorsalu in the 15th minute of play. Petre Encuțescu made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Toomas Mustkivi sent off a good shot on target. In the 23rd match minute, Zecku was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilfredo Lazcano to maneuver through the defense. Petre Encuțescu made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Rudolf Honga sent off a good shot on target. 0-3 became the score in the 31st minute when Ivor Peake elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Jairo Sidro took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Raivo Püss. Raivo Püss dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. 0-5 became the score in the 41st minute when Ivor Peake elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Zecku's zone, Rudolf Honga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Petre Encuțescu came out of the goal and Rudolf Honga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half Zecku were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jairo Sidro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Raivo Püss made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Júlio Vaz in the 53rd minute of play. Andri Asi hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Raivo Püss came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Zecku's Ivor Peake. But to his dismay, Ivor Peake quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. 63 minutes into the match, FC Kuru's goalkeeper Raivo Püss had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isidoro Manilan. FC Kuru's Kristofer Noorsalu got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 73 minutes of play, Zecku's Jairo Sidro made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Raivo Püss was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Kuru's goalkeeper Raivo Püss, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. FC Kuru's Raivo Püss proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save FC Kuru from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, FC Kuru's Toomas Mustkivi got a free kick in the 80th minute. 83 minutes into the match, FC Kuru's goal looked a bit too open when Jairo Sidro came free, but Raivo Püss reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Raivo Püss took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Júlio Vaz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 93rd match minute, FC Kuru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Herbert Karbo to maneuver through the defense.
