Rubinho Lago was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rubinho Lago made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saverio Brion in the 14th minute of play. Rubinho Lago took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saverio Brion, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20th minute Ricardo-Enrique Bochini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rubinho Lago saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luiz Leo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Roland Delbridge having to make a save. With a little luck, Los Muchachos del 86's Roland Delbridge got control of the ball when Luiz Leo tried to sneak it across the goal line. 24 minutes into the game, Luiz Leo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Roland Delbridge. Luiz Leo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Luiz Leo struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Roland Delbridge didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Società Sport Osasco. 33 minutes into the match, Saverio Brion notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of La Società Sport Osasco's Rubinho Lago. Rubinho Lago was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luiz Leo to make the kick off. If Luiz Leo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 55 minutes into the match, Los Muchachos del 86's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Leo came free, but Roland Delbridge reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 57th minute, Luiz Leo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The La Società Sport Osasco fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. La Società Sport Osasco's Rubinho Lago played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saverio Brion in the 61st minute of play. 62 minutes into the game, Saverio Brion was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Los Muchachos del 86's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La Società Sport Osasco the free kick. A collision led to Los Muchachos del 86 getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Saverio Brion hit a great ball. La Società Sport Osasco made a substitution. Ferenc Puskás replaced Bruno Quirino. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilvan Maranhense in the 79th minute of play forced Los Muchachos del 86's goalkeeper Roland Delbridge to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rubinho Lago made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Fabio Bencivenni sent off a good shot on target. Rubinho Lago made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardino Bernal in the 83rd minute of play. Rubinho Lago made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Asiz Soon in the 86th minute of play. Roland Delbridge stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gilvan Maranhense's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. A collision led to Los Muchachos del 86 getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Josep Guardiola hit a great ball. If Gilvan Maranhense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. La Società Sport Osasco's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
