Denílson Leão stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Petru Avramescu's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. Xie Shu Tian's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ysmael Marfil read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. A collision led to Pecém getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Osvaldo de Carvalho hit a great ball. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind DINAMO's goalkeeper Ysmael Marfil, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 9 minutes into the match, Pecém's goal looked a bit too open when Petru Avramescu came free, but Denílson Leão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Xie Shu Tian got free with Ysmael Marfil in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 19th minute Xie Shu Tian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ysmael Marfil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, Pecém's goal looked a bit too open when Petru Avramescu came free, but Denílson Leão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22nd minute, Moise Vlădean left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The DINAMO fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Ysmael Marfil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ibon Obeso in the 25th minute of the match. Ysmael Marfil made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Xie Shu Tian sent off a good shot on target. Denílson Leão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moise Vlădean, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Xie Shu Tian could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Ysmael Marfil made a huge save. Pecém's Denílson Leão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moise Vlădean in the 35th minute of play. Xie Shu Tian's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ysmael Marfil read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. Ysmael Marfil made an important save on a dangerous shot by Xie Shu Tian in the 38th minute. After 41 minutes DINAMO's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Diderik Schenning who took care of the corner kick. In the 44th minute, Ibon Obeso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ysmael Marfil was a little too slow when Xie Shu Tian got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 47th minute. The score was now 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Moise Vlădean to make the kick off. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind DINAMO's goalkeeper Ysmael Marfil, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ysmael Marfil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xie Shu Tian, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. After 63 minutes DINAMO's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Diderik Schenning who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Diderik Schenning got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ysmael Marfil quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Xie Shu Tian in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ysmael Marfil saved DINAMO from getting behind. After 69 played minutes DINAMO got a freekick which was hit by Costel Decuseară. After a rather tough play, DINAMO's Adrian Ciolacu got a free kick in the 71st minute. In the 75thth minute of the game Xie Shu Tian who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but DINAMO's Ysmael Marfil was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 77 played minutes Pecém got a freekick which was hit by Xie Shu Tian. In the 79th minute Xie Shu Tian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ysmael Marfil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 82nd minute, Xie Shu Tian got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Xie Shu Tian struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Ysmael Marfil didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pecém. In the 87th minute, Adrian Ciolacu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The DINAMO fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. 90 minutes into the game, Pecém's Lucio Austin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ysmael Marfil made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. DINAMO's Ysmael Marfil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xie Shu Tian in the 93rd minute of play. When Lucrețiu Nicodim fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored DINAMO's protests and gave Lucrețiu Nicodim a yellow card for diving instead. In the 97th minute Xie Shu Tian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ysmael Marfil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
