After 87 played minutes, La Società Sport Osasco's Luiz Gustavo Ferreira shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Staffan Nord came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in La Società Sport Osasco reached it. Gilvan Maranhense blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Staffan Nord having to make a save. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. La Società Sport Osasco fully deserved thier win.
