To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Paredes Fortes hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. AKI CORINTHIANS's Orlando Nogueira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 叶平卫 in the 46th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers 叶平卫 in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Orlando Nogueira saved AKI CORINTHIANS from getting behind. Marciano Fagondo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciro Brasil, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. In the 59th minute, Ciro Brasil ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marciano Fagondo was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Marciano Fagondo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ciro Brasil's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. 63 minutes into the match, AKI CORINTHIANS's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Tancredo came free, but Orlando Nogueira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 63 minutes into the game, Tricolor's Luis Tancredo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Orlando Nogueira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. 69 minutes had been played when some careless play by Tricolor's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Alfred Schrijns was slow to take the kick. During this time AKI CORINTHIANS's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Alfred Schrijns almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Tricolor's Marciano Fagondo did a great save. Thanks to some nice moves Tómas Planet could shoot a difficult shot in the 75th minute, which Orlando Nogueira however easily saved by the left post. In the 80th minute Ciro Brasil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marciano Fagondo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ciro Brasil's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marciano Fagondo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. 余远振 hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Alf Bålström lost his temper 92 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 92nd minute of the game. One of AKI CORINTHIANS:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Tricolor:s goal. Tómas Planet placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! For all the effort they put into the match, the Tricolor players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for AKI CORINTHIANS.
