After 18 minutes, Faik Malgır mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gnesta Oilers and the AFK Petržalka players grew even worse after the yellow card. Nikola Krstović who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 94thth minute tested the skills of Holger Vennerlund when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. AFK Petržalka walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
