In the 5th minute of the match Kong Kun Xu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Roberto Layton showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Roberto Layton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Banegas in the 9th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augustin Amurăriței in the 11th minute of play forced Esmeralda AFC's goalkeeper Jorge Armani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Esmeralda AFC's zone, Augustin Amurăriței stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jorge Armani came out of the goal and Augustin Amurăriței tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jorge Armani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augustin Amurăriței, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. 16 minutes into the match, ChAяRuA ϒ KaяβoηEяO ☆'s Augustin Amurăriței sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jorge Armani narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 17 minutes Esmeralda AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Alan Petersen who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Alan Petersen almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Esmeralda AFC's Jorge Armani did a great save. Nicasio Fonda took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Roberto Layton. Roberto Layton dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 23 minutes into the game, Augustin Amurăriței cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Jorge Armani was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Augustin Amurăriței recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eloy Calvino in the 33rd minute of play forced ChAяRuA ϒ KaяβoηEяO ☆'s goalkeeper Roberto Layton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 36 minutes of play, ChAяRuA ϒ KaяβoηEяO ☆'s Augustin Amurăriței made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jorge Armani was left in no man's land by his defense there! ChAяRuA ϒ KaяβoηEяO ☆'s Roberto Layton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eloy Calvino in the 39th minute of play. When ChAяRuA ϒ KaяβoηEяO ☆'s Augustin Amurăriței in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Jorge Armani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Augustin Amurăriței, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 47th minute, Bogumil Gierasik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Augustin Amurăriței stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Roberto Layton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eloy Calvino in the 53rd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Esmeralda AFC defense, Augustin Amurăriței kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jorge Armani. The Esmeralda AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jorge Armani should have stopped the shot. Roberto Layton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eloy Calvino in the 62nd minute of play. A collision led to Esmeralda AFC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Jorge Armani was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Esmeralda AFC's goalkeeper Jorge Armani, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 77 minutes Esmeralda AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Bogumil Gierasik who took care of the corner kick. After 78 played minutes Esmeralda AFC got a freekick which was hit by Niceto Matxin. 81 minutes into the game, Randall Burton cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Jorge Armani was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Randall Burton in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jorge Armani prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jorge Armani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Randall Burton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Randall Burton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 93rd minute Randall Burton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Armani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
