Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) AFK Petržalka's Jozef Ružinský started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gabriel Kazár fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Ekialde having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 5 minutes, Gabriel Kazár put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Julio Ekialde. Dalibor Juráček kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Marek Hronský stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Isaias Rami's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. Mateo Cutberto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Julio Ekialde showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel Kazár in the 18th minute of the match. After 19 played minutes AFK Petržalka got a freekick which was hit by Richard Bogdanovský. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaias Rami in the 22nd minute of play forced AFK Petržalka's goalkeeper Marek Hronský to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 24th minute, AFK Petržalka's Jozef Ružinský dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. After a rather tough play, AFK Petržalka's Richard Bogdanovský got a free kick in the 33rd minute. AFK Petržalka's Marek Hronský played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaias Rami in the 34th minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, AFK Petržalka's Gabriel Kazár sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Ekialde narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Isaias Rami to strike the kick off in the second half. Jozef Ružinský hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Hipolito Lia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gabriel Kazár recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Peter Hvižďák kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. AFK Petržalka's Marek Hronský played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaias Rami in the 63rd minute of play. Benedicto Laurin lost his temper 67 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 66th minute of the game. One of Rondeau:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of AFK Petržalka:s goal. Leo Cuarto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jozef Ružinský took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Ekialde. Julio Ekialde dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. The audience was convinced that Jozef Ružinský's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Ekialde was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. In the 96th minute, Jozef Ružinský left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AFK Petržalka fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. Rondeau's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
