Lemel SV's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dieguinho Freitas ran over to the corner to take the kick. Eulalio Marcones could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Cobus Hemmen made a huge save. After some careless play in the Lemel SV defense, Eulalio Marcones kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cobus Hemmen. The Lemel SV fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cobus Hemmen should have stopped the shot. After having played for 13 minutes, Arnold Holthuis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lemel SV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arnold Holthuis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, BRASIL.Sp's Christian Paulista got a free kick in the 16th minute. The supporters of BRASIL.Sp booed when Lemel SV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jurgen Kohler didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eddy Niemeyer made in the 28th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Gijsbert Schaars however managed to control. In the 31st minute Arnold Holthuis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lenílson Quintal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 41st minute, Eulalio Marcones ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cobus Hemmen was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. BRASIL.Sp's Eulalio Marcones got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eulalio Marcones to strike the kick off in the second half. Lemel SV's Cobus Hemmen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eulalio Marcones in the 52nd minute of play. Cobus Hemmen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eulalio Marcones in the 53rd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Eulalio Marcones's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cobus Hemmen was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet as Arnold Holthuis kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lenílson Quintal. That made the score 2-1 in the 58 minute of play. In the 72nd minute, Cesinha Neto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BRASIL.Sp fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. The corner ended in Dieguinho Freitas almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Lemel SV's Cobus Hemmen did a great save. Lenílson Quintal made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Arnold Holthuis sent off a good shot on target. In the 79th minute Lemel SV were awarded a corner. Gijsbert Schaars went to the cornerflag to take it. Rudi Hateboer kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. 85 minutes into the match, Lemel SV's goal looked a bit too open when Breno Sá came free, but Cobus Hemmen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guus Rinzema kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Arnold Holthuis's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Lenílson Quintal firmly grabbed it by the left post. BRASIL.Sp were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Lemel SV for a fine match.
