Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) In the 4th minute Martin Fossum shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cobus Hemmen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Martin Fossum kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cobus Hemmen. That made the score 1-0 in the 6 minute of play. Filip Garaj showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Klaas Jan Mol, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 18th minute, Klaas Jan Mol hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Lemel SV getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Rudi Hateboer hit a great ball. Lemel SV's Rudi Hateboer quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Wang Lin Xiao, made in the 21st minute of the game. Rick Haremeijer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cobus Hemmen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rick Haremeijer, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. 26 minutes into the match, Lemel SV's goal looked a bit too open when Rick Haremeijer came free, but Cobus Hemmen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Lemel SV's Jurgen Kohler got a free kick in the 29th minute. Rudi Hateboer kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. With a little luck, Lemel SV's Cobus Hemmen got control of the ball when Martin Fossum tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 41 minutes, Martin Fossum made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Lemel SV's Cobus Hemmen tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 44 minutes, Martin Fossum put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Cobus Hemmen. 47 minutes into the game, Tonny Sneijder was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lemel SV's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AFK Petržalka the free kick. The supporters of AFK Petržalka booed when Lemel SV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tonny Sneijder didn't get a good kick on the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Klaas Jan Mol made a kick off. Cobus Hemmen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. 67 minutes into the match, Lemel SV's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Fossum came free, but Cobus Hemmen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Martin Fossum fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cobus Hemmen having to interfere. AFK Petržalka's Dezider Kriššák was substituted for Martin Fossum. The AFK Petržalka fans' excitement grew in the 75th match minute when AFK Petržalka's Dezider Kriššák looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 7-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a little luck, AFK Petržalka's Filip Garaj got control of the ball when Klaas Jan Mol tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cobus Hemmen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dezider Kriššák in the 80th minute of play. AFK Petržalka's Filip Garaj proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save AFK Petržalka from getting a goal against them. Cobus Hemmen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dezider Kriššák's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. Cobus Hemmen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dezider Kriššák in the 91st minute of the match. Filip Garaj showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roberto Rivelino, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. When the referee ended the match the AFK Petržalka players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
