The supporters of Defensores de Lombroso booed when Eigtheenstars 2 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raul Castel didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Eigtheenstars 2's zone, Godfredo Gau stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ignacio Valery came out of the goal and Godfredo Gau tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 14th minute, Juan Simon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Godfredo Gau could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Ignacio Valery made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Uriel Ferrer got free with Ignacio Valery in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 21st match minute, Eigtheenstars 2 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ildefonso Uhin to maneuver through the defense. Ignacio Valery took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Godfredo Gau, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Raul Castel lost his temper 25 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Ignacio Valery had in the 26thth minute some difficulties stopping Godfredo Gau's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 30 minutes into the game, Ambrosio Lope cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Denis Paulin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 34th minute Roman Riquelme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ignacio Valery saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 41st minute, Uriel Ferrer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ignacio Valery was out of position in the 43 minute of play, and Roman Riquelme capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Roman Riquelme really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

Defensores de Lombroso's Elian Müller was substituted for Amadeo Raebert. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Julio Faro made a kick off. Ignacio Valery showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elian Müller, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Romulo Liberto charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Romulo Liberto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 57th minute, Romulo Liberto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 58th minute, Elian Müller ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ignacio Valery was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Silvano Bazil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Denis Paulin was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-3. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Defensores de Lombroso fans cheered their team off the field, for while Eigtheenstars 2 had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
