The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Kemalettin Tunçbilek hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. In the 7th minute, Joaquim Carvalho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 23 minutes into the game, Joaquim Carvalho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Salamanca UDS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CİCERO the free kick. A collision led to Salamanca UDS getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Joaquim Carvalho hit a great ball. Ennio Orsini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquim Carvalho in the 26th minute of play. After 27 minutes CİCERO's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tugay Okkan who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Salamanca UDS's Tugay Okkan to fire away a dangerous shot which Ennio Orsini despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Saip Baltaş showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mustafa Hamit Saye in the 30th minute of the match. When Salamanca UDS's Joaquim Carvalho in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye CİCERO's goalie prevented a goal. Ennio Orsini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kamel Espitalier in the 36th minute of the match. In the 38th match minute, CİCERO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tansel Cangun to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquim Carvalho in the 39th minute of play forced CİCERO's goalkeeper Ennio Orsini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Salamanca UDS's Saip Baltaş played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Taner Tuğkan in the 41st minute of play. Ennio Orsini made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Kamel Espitalier sent off a good shot on target. 46 minutes into the match, CİCERO's goal looked a bit too open when David Holmstedt came free, but Ennio Orsini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joaquim Carvalho made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, David Holmstedt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ennio Orsini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joaquim Carvalho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ennio Orsini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joaquim Carvalho in the 55th minute of the match. 57 minutes into the match, CİCERO's goal looked a bit too open when Joaquim Carvalho came free, but Ennio Orsini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in CİCERO's zone, David Holmstedt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ennio Orsini came out of the goal and David Holmstedt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ennio Orsini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kamel Espitalier, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Ennio Orsini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kamel Espitalier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ennio Orsini stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leopold Heinloo's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, Leopold Heinloo put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Ennio Orsini. Ennio Orsini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kamel Espitalier in the 89th minute of the match. After having played for 91 minutes, David Holmstedt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Salamanca UDS's supporters crossed their fingers, but David Holmstedt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
