In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Geçkinli's goalkeeper Yağız Fidan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The nice shot from Jedrzej Czciborek in the 6thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Yağız Fidan had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. 11 minutes into the game, Şentürk Ulumeriç lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Yağız Fidan. The audience was convinced that Şentürk Ulumeriç's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Yağız Fidan was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. Cem Dervişoğlu charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The supporters of Geçkinli booed when Ziyapaşa SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Birol Kaplan didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Ziyapaşa SK's zone, Kuddusî Saatçioğlu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Doğaner Taymaz came out of the goal and Kuddusî Saatçioğlu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jedrzej Czciborek scored 3-0 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Yağız Fidan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cenan Akyıldız fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 45th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball went over. It was a very nice shot. Şentürk Ulumeriç fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yağız Fidan having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Şentürk Ulumeriç to strike the kick off in the second half. Şentürk Ulumeriç blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Yağız Fidan having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Jedrzej Czciborek managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ziyapaşa SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Jedrzej Czciborek was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jedrzej Czciborek recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 95 minutes into the match, Geçkinli's goal looked a bit too open when Şentürk Ulumeriç came free, but Yağız Fidan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Ziyapaşa SK had played much better football throughout.
