The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Bayezit Teoman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 6th minute Bayezit Teoman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Burç Tuncel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 7thth minute of the game Bayezit Teoman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ST Lions FC's Burç Tuncel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 11th minute, Bayezit Teoman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Burç Tuncel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bayezit Teoman, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. 15 minutes into the match, Bayezit Teoman notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of ST Lions FC's Burç Tuncel. Burç Tuncel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bayezit Teoman in the 18th minute of play forced ST Lions FC's goalkeeper Burç Tuncel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Durmuş Öner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bayezit Teoman in the 21st minute of play forced ST Lions FC's goalkeeper Burç Tuncel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bayezit Teoman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Burç Tuncel having to interfere. ST Lions FC's Burç Tuncel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sahnoyan Şah in the 25th minute of play. A collision led to ST Lions FC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Özdemir Kutlualp hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bayezit Teoman in the 29th minute of play forced ST Lions FC's goalkeeper Burç Tuncel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th match minute, ST Lions FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Özdemir Kutlualp to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bayezit Teoman in the 32nd minute of play forced ST Lions FC's goalkeeper Burç Tuncel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sahnoyan Şah fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Burç Tuncel having to interfere. Sahnoyan Şah recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Bayezit Teoman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 46th minute, Bayezit Teoman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half KARŞIYAKA were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The supporters of KARŞIYAKA booed when ST Lions FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmet Hayri Tüzeman didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Veniamin Zisimopoulos in the 52nd minute of play forced ST Lions FC's goalkeeper Burç Tuncel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Burç Tuncel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bayezit Teoman in the 56th minute of play. After some careless play in the ST Lions FC defense, Bayezit Teoman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Burç Tuncel. The ST Lions FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Burç Tuncel should have stopped the shot. If Bayezit Teoman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Burç Tuncel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bayezit Teoman went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. 70 minutes into the match, ST Lions FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bayezit Teoman came free, but Burç Tuncel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Neco Arslanoğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hakkı Onur Yalgın, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 74th minute, Hakkı Onur Yalgın made a precise shot to the right of Neco Arslanoğlu. KARŞIYAKA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. KARŞIYAKA made a substitution. Hatemi Selami replaced Sahnoyan Şah. 79 minutes into the match, Bayezit Teoman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Burç Tuncel. ST Lions FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bayezit Teoman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Bayezit Teoman managed to get in a good position for a shot. KARŞIYAKA's supporters rose to their feet, but Bayezit Teoman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Burç Tuncel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bayezit Teoman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Burç Tuncel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. After having played for 87 minutes, Bayezit Teoman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KARŞIYAKA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bayezit Teoman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Burç Tuncel came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by KARŞIYAKA's Bayezit Teoman. But to his dismay, Bayezit Teoman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. Bayezit Teoman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Burç Tuncel having to interfere. KARŞIYAKA played a much better game than ST Lions FC and deserved their victory. The ST Lions FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
