After 6 played minutes AC Eskisehir got a freekick which was hit by Hamdi Kelami. Eren Özkan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Yağızalp Aktaşoğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Yağızalp Aktaşoğlu made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Sebastian Kazczyk sent off a good shot on target. Sebastian Kazczyk made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 9thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Yağızalp Aktaşoğlu would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Yağızalp Aktaşoğlu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vladimir Frid in the 12th minute. Yağızalp Aktaşoğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eren Özkan in the 14th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vladimir Frid got free with Yağızalp Aktaşoğlu in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nils Krüger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alpertunga Semdin in the 22nd minute of the match. 25 minutes into the game, Sebastian Kazczyk cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Yağızalp Aktaşoğlu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. AC Eskisehir's Yağızalp Aktaşoğlu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save AC Eskisehir from getting a goal against them. Güralp Yasin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 36th minute of the match, Vladimir Frid got a very nice opportunity to score, but Yağızalp Aktaşoğlu was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Nils Krüger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Güralp Yasin in the 38th minute of the match. Zeynel Tavil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Yağızalp Aktaşoğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Yağızalp Aktaşoğlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Kazczyk in the 54th minute of the match. In the 55th minute of the match GOMERASPOR got a corner. AC Eskisehir's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Eren Özkan ran over to the corner to take the kick. GOMERASPOR's Vladimir Frid was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Yağızalp Aktaşoğlu in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 57th minute Eren Özkan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yağızalp Aktaşoğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the AC Eskisehir defense, Zeynel Tavil kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Yağızalp Aktaşoğlu. The AC Eskisehir fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Yağızalp Aktaşoğlu should have stopped the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Güralp Yasin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nils Krüger. That made the score 3-1 in the 73 minute of play. In the 79th match minute, AC Eskisehir was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celil Buğrahan to maneuver through the defense. AC Eskisehir's Yağızalp Aktaşoğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zeynel Tavil in the 82nd minute of play. Yağızalp Aktaşoğlu came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by GOMERASPOR's Vladimir Frid. But to his dismay, Vladimir Frid quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Yağızalp Aktaşoğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Kazczyk in the 94th minute of play. A collision led to GOMERASPOR getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Mustafa Emre Durkaya hit a great ball. Alpertunga Semdin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nils Krüger having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the AC Eskisehir players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for GOMERASPOR.
