The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. AnkaraGücü SK's Burhan Mengü played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enis Geçimoğlu in the 3rd minute of play. Mustafa Yersel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Burhan Mengü tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Mustafa Yersel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. AnkaraGücü SK's Burhan Mengü played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enis Geçimoğlu in the 10th minute of play. Mustafa Yersel kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. If Arman Ozan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Kutluay Baydan fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AnkaraGücü SK's protests and gave Kutluay Baydan a yellow card for diving instead. Burhan Mengü showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mustafa Yersel, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Burhan Mengü showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mustafa Yersel in the 22nd minute of the match. Enis Geçimoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Rüstem Alyakut fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AnkaraGücü SK's protests and gave Rüstem Alyakut a yellow card for diving instead. After 26 played minutes AnkaraGücü SK got a freekick which was hit by Rüstem Alyakut. In the 28th minute, Tansel Çelik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 30thth minute of the game Mustafa Yersel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AnkaraGücü SK's Burhan Mengü was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 32 minutes of play AnkaraGücü SK's Rüstem Alyakut was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Rüstem Alyakut hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Ahmet Haşim Seralp kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Burhan Mengü made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mustafa Yersel in the 39th minute of play. After having played for 41 minutes, Fahrettin Kultigin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AnkaraGücü SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fahrettin Kultigin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tansel Çelik in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mert Zeynelabidin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 44th minute, Tansel Çelik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tansel Çelik stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Bal Porsuğu's zone, Göktuğ Tuğsan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mert Zeynelabidin came out of the goal and Göktuğ Tuğsan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Burhan Mengü made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mustafa Yersel in the 59th minute. Mert Zeynelabidin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tansel Çelik in the 67th minute of play. The supporters of Bal Porsuğu booed when AnkaraGücü SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fahrettin Kultigin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ahmet Göktuğ Umurbey hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. In the 76th minute, Demircan Toygar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mert Zeynelabidin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Demircan Toygar, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Mustafa Yersel's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Burhan Mengü firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 81st minute, Mustafa Yersel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bal Porsuğu fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Mustafa Yersel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Burhan Mengü having to make a save. After 87 played minutes AnkaraGücü SK got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet Göktuğ Umurbey. Burhan Mengü made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Mustafa Yersel sent off a good shot on target. Bal Porsuğu's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
