Gonzo Gonzo took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Radomir Zurawski. Radomir Zurawski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. When the match clock showed 30 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Leonard Popowicz sped through REBORN's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Miromir Basinski. Radomir Zurawski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Korneliusz Majusiak in the 36th minute of the match. Gonzo Gonzo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Radomir Zurawski having to make a save. Radomir Zurawski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gonzo Gonzo, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. REBORN's Gonzo Gonzo got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

After 54 played minutes RW AHLEN-KNURÓW got a freekick which was hit by Slawomir Cholewa. The crowd rose to their feet as Gonzo Gonzo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Radomir Zurawski. That made the score 2-3 in the 55 minute of play. If Gonzo Gonzo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. RW AHLEN-KNURÓW made a substitution. Leonard Treppa replaced Leonard Popowicz. REBORN's Tytus Deput was substituted for Tolek Badanowski. RW AHLEN-KNURÓW's Radowit Budrewicz was substituted for Cristian Lelescu. In the 66th minute Korneliusz Majusiak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radomir Zurawski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
