When Aristides Telo came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Stat Veritas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aristides Telo couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Primitivo Jordy in the 4th minute of play forced A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's goalkeeper Silvano Arnau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Lucas Alario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Stat Veritas FC defense, Lucas Alario kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hernan Orlin. The Stat Veritas FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hernan Orlin should have stopped the shot. 22 minutes into the match, Stat Veritas FC's goalkeeper Hernan Orlin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lucas Alario. 24 minutes into the match, Lucas Alario notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Stat Veritas FC's Hernan Orlin. Hernan Orlin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 26 minutes into the game, Mario Cesaro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Stat Veritas FC the free kick. Lucas Alario's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hernan Orlin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. Silvano Arnau showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aristides Telo in the 32nd minute of the match. Stat Veritas FC's Hernan Orlin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Stat Veritas FC from getting a goal against them. 40 minutes in the game Leo Paskal did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Atilano Damario. In the 44th match minute, Stat Veritas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leo Paskal to maneuver through the defense. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lucas Alario was the one to do the kick off. After 54 played minutes A.D Atlético Villa Gesell got a freekick which was hit by Constantino Bibiano. Stat Veritas FC's Pablo Donio shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 55th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Silvano Arnau but with some difficulty. A sloppy throw-in by Atilano Damario in the 67th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's Eusebio Pierres. Hernan Orlin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucas Alario, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lucas Alario took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hernan Orlin. Hernan Orlin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. 74 minutes into the game, Camilo Oihan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Hernan Orlin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 76th minute, Leo Paskal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 80th minute, Lucas Alario made a precise shot to the right of Hernan Orlin. Stat Veritas FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. The nice shot from Primitivo Jordy in the 91stth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Silvano Arnau had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. A.D Atlético Villa Gesell fully deserved thier win.
