To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 22 minutes into the match, Pacui's goal looked a bit too open when Tommie Kirkpatrick came free, but Falcão Favoretto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luiz Fernando Salgado during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Desmond Patterson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Creekers getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Alfred Crowder hit a great ball. Teodoro Garcia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Omar Jimenez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 68th match minute, Creekers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christopher Goss to maneuver through the defense. Creekers were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
