The corner led Gladiadores's Pablo Corral to fire away a dangerous shot which Eugenio Bartolomucci despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Cacciola's Eugenio Bartolomucci played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabrie-Alejandro Maldini in the 30th minute of play. In the 32nd minute Dennis Ingemarsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugenio Bartolomucci saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Daniele Giordani fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cacciola's protests and gave Daniele Giordani a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Cacciola getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ernesto Cara stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Isidro Chuan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Franco Di Giuseppe in the 51st minute of the match. Eugenio Bartolomucci made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dennis Ingemarsson in the 52nd minute of play. Cacciola's Eugenio Bartolomucci proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Cacciola from getting a goal against them. Franco Di Giuseppe scored 2-0 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Isidro Chuan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 57 minutes into the game, Anfilogino Polmone was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Anfilogino Polmone hit a great ball. Fausto Finocchio lost his temper 58 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Cacciola fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 58th minute. Penalty! 61 minutes into the match, Gladiadores's Marciano Pettinelli sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eugenio Bartolomucci narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dennis Ingemarssons short, quick shot in the 62ndth minute got Eugenio Bartolomucci to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Eugenio Bartolomucci made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dennis Ingemarsson in the 64th minute. 65 minutes into the match, Cacciola's goalkeeper Eugenio Bartolomucci had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gabrie-Alejandro Maldini. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Cacciola. 94 minutes into the game, Gladiadores's Pablo Corral nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eugenio Bartolomucci made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. 97 minutes into the game, Marciano Pettinelli cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Eugenio Bartolomucci was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Gladiadores had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
